of course! but it will close
You should clean your nose piercing with antibacterial (Dial) soap twice a day for the first week that you have it. After that first week, reduce cleaning to once a day. Be sure not to overclean as you can cause moderate to severe irritation to your piercing.
That is not a good idea, because your piercing is still in the healing process. If you take it out it is possible that you can still get an infection. The infection can get trapped inside your tongue and cause BIG problems.. wait until it is fully healed (4-6 weeks) before taking it out
This is subjective to the area of the piercing. If it is trans urethral, in the instance of a PA or an apadravya, than it will never fully close. It could be anywhere from a day to a few...or in some instances a week or so if it is well and truly healed.
No you cannot, at least not just yet. Changing your belly button ring, or for that matter any other kind of body jewelry, just one week after getting a new piercing is a surefire recipe for disaster. In such short a time, there is no way that your piercing would have healed enough to enable you to change your belly ring. And if you do try it, you could very well cause your piercing to close, as at such an initial stage, a piercing can close even if left without jewelry for a few minutes. Although belly button piercings take differing lengths of time for healing in different people, it is safe for all to assume that for at least the first six months, your piercing will not have healed properly. Some people may even take up to a couple of years to have their belly piercing heal fully. But that in no way means that you have to wait for a full 2 years to change your nipple ring. Once the initial healing period has passed (about 6 months) you can proceed to change your belly ring. However, as the piercing in all likelihood will not have healed fully, it is best not to keep it free of belly rings for any length of time.
Not unless you want to loose the piercing you paid good money for. Look if you take the jewellery out it will close and what is the point in taking it out, it isn't healed yet and wont be for another 6 to 8 weeks.
It might take a week or two.
Very quickly. You're not even meant to change the jewellery until 3 months, so it wont be healed properly yet. As it is cartilage and there is no blood, when you take the stud out the hole will start to close immediately and it may hurt to get the stud in after a few minutes, so it would probably only take about a week or so?
haha.. one determined week
A nose piercing can usually be changed after one week of having it pierced. You can try out places like Piercing Pagoda, Claire's, or even Hot Topics to find a nose piercing - depending on your friend's style.
It can take up to 12 weeks for an Industrial piercing to close up. Possibly even longer, as long as you clean the area with salen solution it will heal up just fine, DO NOT turn, the piercing it will do that by daily wear. And DO NOT take the piercing out, the skin will grow back together very quickly and cause the punctures to close, meaning you just paid for a piercing, that is no good anymore.
Depends on how old it is, what size, and just how your body heals. If you have to take it out for work or something. Wear a clear glass or plastic retainer and them ask them if its fine for you to wear. Otherwise, you'll just have ot risk leaving it naked.
Its really gonna irritate the piercing and delay healing. Not to mention an increase in the risk of infection. What if you wore a glass bar instead? or even but a bandage over it.
