No. I took a little sip through a straw (I know, its not smoking marijuana, but it is the same action) about 24 hours after an apicotemy and lost my clot and had big-time bleeding. Luckily the bleeding stopped right away after a few saltwater rinses, but it made clot formation go back to square one. I wouldn't smoke or suck on anything until that clot is well established. I plan to be really gentle with mine for at least 72 hours (re-starting the counting after I lost the clot). At least with an apicotemy you can't get dry sockets, but each time you lose the clot is also probably another chance at infection...
