Sure, just put a piece of Duct Tape over his mouth. Ha ha. On the other hand, his weapon is a different story. The size of the round and the velocity with which it displaces air around the muzzle makes it pretty much impossible to silence. If you custom loaded a very slow (subsonic) round, then you should be able to make a suppressor that would reduce (not eliminate) the sound. Unfortunately, reducing the velocity would also reduce the range and impact effects, which is why snipers like the .50 in the first place. If you saw it in a movie, keep in mind that all things are possible in Hollywood.
The .50 Cal Sniper (Tip: aim for the head)
Yes. The .50 cal is one of many weapons available to the sniper, though there are several others, each of them favored based upon the type of sniper mission.
50.Cal.

up to and in excess of 10000
The bullet itself - no.
Barret 50 cal. all the way!
Depends on which .50 cal, and which cartidge. If you mean a Barrett Model 82A1 sniper rifle, in .50 BMG, standard ball ammo is ABOUT 2800 fps.
They both fire the 50 BMG
Approx. 5ft. If you're talking about the M107, then yea, about 5ft.
This is subjected to opinion but they most used sniper rifles are the Barret 50. Cal and the Intervention. The Intervention is the more commonly used of the two so it is considered the best sniper rifle.
