No,because bb's are a standard .22 caliber;witch means a .177 caliber rifle would have to have a .177 caliber bb.I don't believe any company would make the bb any smaller,do to supply and demand reasons of cost to produce one.~Jason
Actually Jason, the diameter of BB's, is .175,, this is to allow the projectile to fit "loosely" enough in the barrel so as to not jam. Most .177 cal air rifles WILL NOT shoot BB's. ^^Frank
First, check to see that you have a BB gun, and not a pellet gun. Both pellets and BBs are made in .177 cal. A pellet gun will not shoot BBs (in most cases) If your gun IS a BB gun, you will need a gunsmith to check it for damage, stuck items in the barrel, etc.
No it will jam in the barrel.
As long as the pellet is .177 Cal then any .177 caliber pellet will work in your .177 Gamo.
It all depends on the particular model. There are over 100 different models that shoot .177 cal BBs'
No. a 177 is a 4.5mm pellet. A 5mm is a 20 cal pellet. A 5.5mm is a 22 cal pellet Don't try it in the wrong airgun.
It all depends on the rifle, pellet and power source.
Any .177 cal pellet can be shot from you air rifle. However you will find that some brands are much better than others.
Airsoft bbs are made up of plastic and are 6mm in diameter and are .24 cal, BBs however are metal and are .177 cal (4.5mm)
diameter
The 22 is slightly larger than the .177 cal. The 177 Pellet is almost the same diameter as the .175 BB.
