That will depend on what caliber it is chambered for, the bullet used, the barrel used and the weather at the time. note: at one time the Magnum Research information state a 14" barrel 357 magnum gun could shoot up to 300 yards away (900 feet, or an eighth of a mile.)

As said below, the Desert Eagle is not a revolver. It is also not cheap, nor in my opinion an especially impressive handgun except to those that fell in love with video games, and do not shoot real firearms.
Only the Coonan Arms .357 and .357 models of the Desert Eagle can do this.
