Yes you can if you don't mind destroying the value of this vintage rifle. Manufactured from 1932 to 1935, only 263,000 were made. Current value $75 to $600 depending on variation and condition.
So if you insist, Weaver makes top and side mounts that can be installed on the rifle's receiver to accept Weaver type rings.
Either option will require drilling and tapping holes to secure the mounts.
The top mount requires two bases, Weaver #42 (48042) for rear and #43 (40843) for the front. The side mount is #2 (48402). Weaver http:

lists these for the Model 34 but I have both rifles and the mounts will also fit the 33.The top mounts are $5 or $6. I don't know the side mount price.

I am told by my local gunsmith, they were made from 1930-33. His guess on the value is apx. 270-285 depending on condition. He also told me if a scope was put on it, it would decreese the value of the gun.

They were only made from 1932-1935, they are date code stamped on the barrel details on the Remington Society of America, Manufactured date link.
