Definitely not a big game hunting rifle. It's too small a caliber. It's fine for rodent control, but medium to large game are way out of the capabilities of this rifle. There are air rifles that are used for hunting but they are in a class of their own. They are called PCP's (PreCharged Pneumatic) class rifles. The ones used for deer hunting usually are 357 or 50 caliber air rifles and will cost you $500 or more just for the rifle. They require a charging system that can cost another $300. None of the Daisy line of airguns or rifles are capable of deer hunting.
If you want to hunt with an air rifle I suggest you look at a Benjamin Rogue .357 or a Sam Yang .50 caliber Dragon claw.
I do not recommend it. Its not quite powerful enough
The Deer Hunt was created in 1972.
The Daisy Powerline is a BB and Pellet rifle not a BB gun. It is rated at 625 FPS. It is designed for plinking and fun, not hunting. But is is capable of killing small rodents. However I suggest you use "Hollow Point pellets" if you are going to hunt rodents not BB's. BB's do not deform when they hit a target and the rodent will suffer before death. Hollow point pellets make a clean kill.
yes they hunt for deer
Deer don't "hunt", as herbivores they graze
It depends on where you are in a state. If it is not a wild life preservation, you can most likely deer hunt.
