Spacer Instead of a Lip RingIt is not recommended. You should wait for the piercing to heal then change it. If you are forced to wear a spacer wear it no more than 4 hours. Otherwise it might get infected.

Your piercist cant put in a spacer because they cant sterilize plastic, and you shouldn't remove your piercing for atleast 3-4 weeks.
