Saunas are fine on the provision that you shower after you are done and rinse the piercing out with running water. Hot tubs are a real problem, more often that not the owner of the hot tube hasn't checked and balanced the water in the tub. This imbalance can lead to bacterial growth and basically makes the hot tub a pathogen farm waiting for a open wound to enter. If you have a hot tub ensure you test and balance the water daily, not every week, every day. The temperature and boiling action from the jets will cause the chemicals in the water to off gas due to the agitation and heat. This can throw the water Ph and chemical balance out quite quickly.
Wait at least 8 weeks before you change the jewelry.
you should wait 8 weeks. at least but really its whatever the piercing place told you
A belly-button piercing is usually still healing after 3 weeks, although the swelling and redness should have gone down and should be almost completely gone! If the area still looks irritated/puffy, or red then it's still healing. I hope this helped!(:
No you have to wait at least six months my sister has one and she has to wait six months.
Yes you can just wash the piercing out well once you are done.
once you have your belly pierced you may go swimming after 2 weeks..i was worried when i got mine done cause my vacation was 2 weeks after i got it done so of course i asked about swimming and he told me 2 weeks so there ya go.. :-)
Take the jewellery out of the piercing and call it a day. The piercing will continue to migrate and will eventually drop the piercing altogether. Removing the jewellery now will allow your body to maintain the tissue and prevent the formation of scar tissue. After a few weeks you could go and talk to your local professional body piercing about having the piercing redone deeper behind the migrating piercing.
No get your operation out of the way then get your navel piercing done. Taking a new piercing out for a few hours when it's not even 6 weeks old is not a smart or good idea. Just wait and get it done once you have healed from surgery.
Yes, you can change your piercing after 6 months, as long as you know your piercing is healed, and it doesn't seem infected. you can safely change the piercing after 6-8 weeks. Just make sure after you change it you sterilize it. Just a tip, when your changing it use water to lubricate it so it slides out easier.
Yes, because your piercing is still healing and open to bacteria. I would wait at least TWO months.
You need to wait a minimum of 3 months to do it yourself. However, your piercer is able to do it in as little as one to two weeks.
You are typically advised to refrain from swimming for six weeks. Pools can harbor a lot of nasty bacteria that make your new piercing at risk of infection.
