There's absolutely nothing that you can't do on your period, no matter what day of your period it is, to swim on your period you need to use internal menstrual products like these:

  1. Tampons
  2. Soft tampons
  3. Sponges
  4. Diaphragms
  5. Softcups
  6. Menstrual cups

Menstrual cups are the best option as they're safer than tampons, this means they can be worn for up to 12 hours and even when your flow is light without any health risks. Tampons are best for swimming as unlike tampons they don't absorb water, nothing shows outside your body, and they don't leak like tampons can.

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?

You can go swimming on any day of your period, as long as you are wearing a tampon. If you are not, then you should not go swimming, as it would be unhygenic for those swimming with you.
