Gee I wish people would learn the terminology before they ask questions, we don't pierce anything with "studs" they are called "barbells", they can be bent or straight curved or circular. The phrase "stud" is a rude phrase to describe an ear piercing "stud" which is never used in professional body piercing. Now as for your lip, yes it can be pierced with an 18g barbell be it straight or curved.
Yes, it is possible to get your lip pierced with an eighteen gauge stud, however, the size and style of the stud will ultimately depend on the piercing professional's recommendation and your anatomy. Make sure you consult with a professional piercer to determine the best size and type of jewelry for your lip piercing.
Typically, a tongue piercing may hurt more than a lip piercing, as the tongue is a sensitive and muscular area. However, pain perception can vary from person to person. Both piercings may cause discomfort during the procedure and while the area is healing.
Lip-sync or if your relating lip-sing?
The correct term is "lip sync," which refers to the practice of moving one's lips in synchronization with recorded music or dialogue. "Lip sing" is not a proper term.
Some compound words with the word "lip" in them include lipstick, lipgloss, and lip balm.
The phrase is lip synching or hyphenated lip-synching (from verb synch, or synchronize), meaning to move ones lips to appear to be singing while a recorded version is played.* also seen as lip-syncing
When I got my lip pierced, they already had the jewelry with them, because they have to use a special, longer stud to accomodate swelling. Perhaps if you brought you're own ball(s), they would screw those onto the stud instead of the regular ones.
I have both my lip and belly button pierced. I had my belly button pierced with a hoop and my lip pierced with a bar/stud. The belly button was more irritating then the lip because a hoop piercing requires the piercer to clamp it shut and fiddle around with a new pierced part instead of just screwing a ball on. I recommend any new piercings to be with a bar/stud as it is quicker and less irritating. Put it this way, I'm going for a 2nd lip piercing and not another belly button piercing ;)
Yes, My sister who's 17 got her lip done but had to have our mom with us
You can but it's not the wisest thing to do with a brand new piercing due to the possible hook factor.
You follow the needle threw with the stud.
yeah you should be able to, as long as the lip ring is the same thickness as the stud you had your nose pierced with, otherwise the ring will not go through. :) hope this helped.
On your lip...
If the jewellery was clean you should be o.k.
He was 13 when he got his lip pierced =]
A tongue ring shows ur a freak while a lip pierced shows u might not be able to kiss very wellA toung ring can show ur creativity with the different colors fo the blass, the red, The gauge size, etc. While a lip piercing just looks painful to kiss
Ok, i got my lip peirced about a month ago. They provide you with a lip ring. They usually ask if you want a hoop or a stud. I have a hoop because it heals faster. So no you do not have to supply a lip ring. But when you want it changed to a different lip ring you do. Hope that helped!
All initial lip piercings have to have a titanium 1.2 x 10 mm stud ( it's about the size of a small pea) then after two weeks the piercer should change it to a smaller stud or gem depending on swelling and healing :D
