Yes it can get infected
No they are Copper, Lead or Steel ball bearings. airsoft uses 6mm plastic BB
A BB, commonly used in airsoft and BB guns, is typically made of plastic or steel. Plastic BBs are often made from materials like polyethylene, while steel BBs are usually coated to prevent rusting. The size of a BB is standardized at 6mm for airsoft and 4.5mm for steel BBs used in air guns. These materials ensure durability and consistent performance in shooting games.
Copperhead BBs are made of steel with copper plating.
A BB gun uses compressed air to push a round steel "BB" out of a smoothbore barrel. It does not have the power, range, or accuracy of a firearm.
Steel is an alloy of iron which is not toxic. The amount of chromium and manganes in a sampe of stainless steel is negligable.
bbs are made out of steel and pellets are made out of lead
Some quick calculations gave me about 40 psi shooting a steel BB at 300fps from a 15" barrel. It seems low, can anyone out there corroborate these findings?
i wanna say blindness..
No, it is considered a firearm in the same category as its real steel counterpart.
Do you mean Bullet? Is usually made from Copper, lead, steel or other inert materials.
BB basically only come in one size .177 or .175 to be exact. Pellets come in different sizes. I can only think of one model Air pistol that requires special BB's and that a Gamo P-23 it requires led BB's because it has a rifled barrel and steel BB can damage the barrel.
Are you asking about a gun or a rifle. Which model are you asking about. Daisy had made over a 100 different BB guns and rifles
