Probably not, but they'd probably need a house key. A house key is important, in case they go to their friends house, then have to go home, but there's no way in. So...I'd say it's okay to leave a 17 year old, and go out of town.

In almost all cases, yes. Your parents are probably worried sick, and want you to come home. It doesn't mean that things will be perfect, or that there won't be rules, but almost all parents sincerely care for their children, and are doing the best they can. Rules are their way of trying to protect you.

Go home. The worst that can happen is that you're back in the situation you are in now. Take the risk.
