GENERAL NOTESThis Act prohibits the tattooing of persons under the age of 18 years.
The Act, which does not extend to Northern Ireland, received the Royal Assent on 16 May 1969, and came into force on that date.

SCOTLANDThe Act applies to Scotland without modification.

As Scotland is part of the UK, their tattoo parlours should be under the same laws as English ones, thus even with a parental consent form, you'll be waiting until you're 18 to get your tattoo :)
