A Smiley Piercing is a piercing done generally with a circular barbell, captive bead ring or a bent barbell in the frenial web above the front teeth, between the top lip and gums.
The "smiley" is a piercing located in the upper lip frenulum. It's basically the little web between your upper lip and gums. The size ranges from person to person, so it is possible that not everyone is suitable for this type of piercing.Inside the top lip between the lip and top gum in the frenial web.
To accidentally tear off your smiley piercing get an injury that will scratch the area of your smiley piercing.
How long it takes a smiley piercing, or any piercing to heal up will depend greatly on the care given. Making sure to keep the piercing clean can help it to heal as quickly as possible.

He had a smiley piercing. That's the flap of skin that holds your upper lip and your gums together.
Just brush your teeth as normal and use a good mouth wash and that's it. The previous answer was deleted because it was out and out dangerous and stupid.
they put these clampers and pinch it then stick a niddle thur and that's it oh and puts in the smiley ring thing lol
Take it out. I had mine pierced and it ripped out. So unless you want two skin flaps I suggest you take it out. If you want it re-pierced then you can get it done again after it's closed up. :)
All piercings hurt to some point, but in the hands of a professional body piercer the piercing is simple and next to painless.
