Remove magazine. Pull back slide inspecting chamber. All ammunition must be removed. Draw slide back till slide cut on lower left edge is centered over the round frontal area of slide stop. Push slide stop out of frame from right to left while holding slide so that the cut is over the pin. after slide stop is out and on table gently guide the slide forward and off the frame. Set slide on table so sights are down. Recoil rod and spring assembly is pulled up after compressing a little. Barrel can be removed at this time. Assembly is reverse order.

Best left to a trained gunsmith. For normal cleaning, no disassembly is needed.
