That information is considered hidden and cannot be found unless a part of Facebook's modding and admins it'self.
It would be quite simple to find out how a fake account is. The fake account is usually made by someone who is pretending to be someone who think is funny, but actually that person is just being weird and could be a stalker in disguise. You can tell how the person speaks or acts on facebook. Then, you can compare how the actual person (whom the other person is in disguise on facebook) behaves and talks.
One way would be just to search for your name on Facebook, and then look through the accounts to see if you have two. This, of course, is much harder if your name is very common... and it only works if you used your real name on the account and then forgot you already had one or something, rather than purposely creating a fake account with a temporary email, which of course might be impossible to find if you forget what you did. For any online accounts, if you have associated some specific information with them that can be used to verify who you are, you should be able to check with the site itself to see if there is more than one account associated with that email or whatever, but they will quiz you a lot to see if it is really you... and having two accounts might be against the terms of use, so the only thing that will accomplish is getting one of them deleted. So, it just depends on what you are trying to do... make multiple accounts, or make sure you don't have two. :)
