Im pretty sure that only your friend's can see your friend list on FaceBook...
From Accounts->Privacy Settings you can edit your block list for this purpose.

To hide certain friends on your profile you go to account settings at the top right. Then click on privacy settings to edit what friends can see what.

You can't customise your privacy settings like that. It's either all albums viewable or not. Use your Privacy Control in Account Settings to toggle your current setting to whichever option you prefer. If you really want to keep your other albums secret, then I would suggest making all albums hidden to normal users who have not added you as a friend, rather than making them all viewable as that means that they can see them even if they are private.
