Yes u can, u just go to settings, click general, and then click restrictions, then click restrictions on and u can block safari, YouTube, app store, maps, mail, everything that comes with the ipod, but there is another browser just as an extra i dont rememnber wat its called, but u can look it up on iTunes, its not safari, but it like another browser, so if ur mom, like my mom, wont let u have open internet, u can dowload this, yes its stupid but better than nothing, it is 0.99$. hope this helps
