In Facebook there is a notation for new messages. After viewing these messages it is possible to delete them individually or return to the list and delete all. This is done by using the corner x.

To completely delete messages, you have to delete them one at a time in the archives. There is a site called fbsweeper that will delete them for you all at once. It is much easier than doing it on facebook.
It's not possible unless you delete your account.
You would have to figure out a way to log into there account and delete it from there mail. Sorry.

To delete individual messages: 1. Open Gmail. 2. Open the message (or select the checkbox next to it). 3. Click the Trash icon. 4. To delete a specific message from a conversation thread, click the down arrow next to Reply and choose Delete this message. To delete many or all messages at once: 1. Open Gmail. 2. Find the group of messages you want to delete. You can find messages by searching or by selecting all messages with a certain label. 3. When you see a message you want to delete, click on "Delete" on the right of the message.

Unfortunately there does not seem to be any setting to enable this automatically for all messages. What you have to do, for every message you send, is manually check the box labeled "Save a copy in your Sent folder" just above the Send and Cancel buttons. Then a copy will be saved in your Sent Messages folder, and you can then review those saved messages or delete them. Sorry, I haven't found another way. And, btw, this question and many others are answered in the FAQ section of friendster's on-line help
no it can not be recovered unless you sent all Ur messages to a different account before you deleted it.
To delete text messages, if using the touch screen, go to messaging. Then press the little button at the bottom that had the 4 lines (it is next to the little house symbol). When options come up, click on delete threads. But warning: doing this will delete ALL of your messages. I don't know a way on how to delete only one.
