Nope. Once it's sent, it's sent.
Text messages are sent in seconds. The moment you hit send, the message is blasted into space by network antennas, then reflected back to Earth towards the phone thereceiversnumber is assigned to. All this is done within 2-6 seconds of hitting 'Send', so even if there was a cancel button, you'd never press it in time.
No
It will stay archived until you delete it, otherwise it won't be deleted but it will reappear to Inbox if the person sends you another message.
It was probably someone with an iPhone and used the little characters/icons in the text. Only people who have iPhones can see them or they will just look like squares if sent to non iPhone users. :)

Just delete the message, as long as it's yours. You cannot delete an entire message board, as the message board is permanent and cannot be removed. Just delete your message and move on, because it's the only way you can do it without trying to offend someone.
no. me and my friend each have our own twitter accounts, and i sent my friend a direct message. she received the direct message. then i deleted it out of my account, and it disappeared from her direct message list. so if you delete a sent direct message, it will indeed delete it out of the receivers direct message list.
The text layout for the HTC Snap s522 and s521 which enables you to view messages similar to the iPhone is located in message settings. In message setting you can change how your messages are displayed.

You can delete your memory of that email so no one can find it also if the person is your friend or not you can go on their email and delete the message in the sentbox
When you delete someone on msn and they dont delete you that person it still capable of sending you a message and you receiving it. I would recommend blocking them and deleting them. That way that person can't send you anything and you can't send them anything either.
No, people that make a post on another's message board has nothing to do with the rules. Some people do this when sharing emails for example, they give them the email and the immediately delete the message from the other's message board.A bit more:While the practice of deleting messages is not officially against the rules, it is discouraged because of its disruptive nature. Of course, as the above answer states, it is perfectly fine to delete a message from another person's message board if they have asked you to do so after reading the personal information, or have given you permission to do so.There are also some who will post angry or inappropriate content on another person's message board, then delete it, knowing the intended recipient will have seen it by then. This is not allowed, and the subject of such messages are contrary to guidelines on community behavior, and can result in an official warning or even being blocked from the site.
Delete the message as soon as you get it don't open it or reply back (it may be a virus) and ignore it!
