Yes. You are able to purchase giftcards with other giftcards. This can be beneficial in some cases, such as consolidating multiple giftcards into one card or if your current giftcard will not scan (bad magnetic strip) then you can swap it out for one that does.

*You cannot purchase a prepaid Visa/MasterCard with a giftcard (register will not allow it)

*You cannot cashout a giftcard

*The minimum you can load a gift card is $5

*Walmart has recently updated their computers to allow less than $5 on their cards.

*Also, in extreme cases, management can cash out a gift card.

Yes, you can use a Walmart e-gift card in a store. It will be linked to a specific code so you will need to print out the e-card before you try to use it in the store. This is okay because even if you print it 200 times, it is still linked to the same identification number and thus the money loaded onto it can only be spent once. It is also nice because this way you pretty much can’t lose it unless you delete the link to it or something. Even then, Walmart.com could still help you out.
