no. There is so much technology, that when they listen to the babies heartbeat, they would hear another one. And plus it would get so crowded in there that the doctor would know.

Actually, yes you can. My daughter in law gave birth to twins that they were not expecting. As the doctor explained it, the babies were perfectly aligned and had identical heartbeats. As for being crowded, they were less than 10 pounds combined, actually a little less than their dad's weight at birth. Surprise! Two for the price of one!
