Using caller ID bocking with services such as 67 means that the number is not delivered to the phone being called. The network operators and service providers still have exactly the same records of the call as with any non blocked ID. With suitable authorization, police and other authorities are able to access records and identify the calling number with ease.
Emergency services typically bypass the ID block and any number used to call them will be displayed immediately. Location tools can also provide a physical location for the phone. Prank calling the police has never been more hazardous!
