Can parents legally stop a girl in Illinois from dating an older guy who is a bad influence on her?

If the girl is not of legal age (as is presumed by this question's category), then the parents may file for a "restraining order", but would have to show cause by proof of the alleged "bad influence", which is not always easy (hearsay is not proof). If the "older guy" is only one or two years older, then it will be very hard to prove that they are simply not friends who met in school, the mall, etc. Of course, they could always resort to grounding the girl for life, but that never seems to work! ;) Legally they can't do ANYTHING {but you should trust your parents judgement}
