I'm on day 5 no alcohol and it's happening to me! Very similar to the Sertraline withdrawals I've had. I have no idea what's causing it.

doc zaps

Could someone tell me who has been on and then weaned off of Paxil what their brain zaps felt like because mine feel more like body zaps or jolts and I am wanting to know if it is the same thing?

Yes this is the same thing. I am on effexor and get the same side effect if I miss a pill. The jolts aren't harmful, but they are very disconcerting. Check with your Dr to see if they can ween you off more slowly.
