Beer may contain live yeast. If this yeast finds something it likes to eat, then it will grow. This is not likely to happen inside your stomach, as the high acid content will likely kill it.

However, if you have a tongue piercing, or other gaping wound in your mouth, a yeast infection is possible.

If you happened to spill beer into an open wound or orifice, it may also be possible to contract a yeast infection.

So yes it is possible, but only under certain circumstances, and not highly probable.

Beer as well as all hard types of alcohol i.e. wine, vodka, whiskey, gin etc contain high levels of yeast. Alcohol is prepared when yeast is fermented. The yeast which is absorbed in the blood can result in yeast infection. Other foods which have the same effect of yeast, are bread and sugar.
