--- ANSWER ---

Yes, we can and do.

I have been married for 25 years and sober for 11 of them.

My wife seems to think we have a good relationship, and so do I.

It wasn't always like this, though.

No relationship can throve when there is lying and deceit - and certainly no individual can throve when they are lying to, and trying to deceive themselves. Our relationship seemed good when I was sober - but my wife eventually had enough and threatened and cajoled me until I sought help.

We both think that our relationship is stronger than some other people's because of what we've been through together.

But then relationships are like much in life. the good stuff only comes when you struggle for it.

What can you do for a girl that lives with an alcoholic?

Try to get the alcoholic some help, if being an alcoholic is the problem then solve the problem, try to help the alcoholic. But there would need to be more information, are they in a relationship, roomates, old friends, family? Either way the problem is the alcohoism, why are you looking at helping "the girl", she isn't the one with the problem, help the one with the problem "the alcoholic". I assume the girl is a friend well to help your friend you need to help her roomate (the alcoholic she lives with). Your question should be what can you do to help an alcoholic? If you help the alcoholic you will help your friend. If their relationship is dangerous get the girl out, but don't forget the drunk "he or she" needs help.

Do anybody have a alcoholic boyfriend?

If you have an alcoholic relationship, life is unsettling and changeable. It is very difficult to maintain a relationship with an alcoholic, possibly because they are so uncomfortable with themselves and are in partnership with their drink of choice. Some are very productive and can maintain a good job. Some are not abusive, just have to have their drinks. Others only drink socially at bars and do not feel that they are addicted. Any change has to be made by them (not by you policing them) and may not be sustainable through a lifetime. Visit AA in your town and talk to people who are in the same situation to get a perspective.
