In my opinion, it is a matter of principle to respond by retaliating. I got into a physical fight with the dean in 8th grade... as the teacher attacked me, I pushed him back and landed a body punch. It was illegal in the state for a teacher to physically hit a pupil... and therefore, the whole ordeal was swept under the carpet. I could have given the teacher a decent beating, but I really didn't want to. If he would have hurt me, that would have been a different story.

No, it is never appropriate for a student to hit a teacher. In any situation where there is physical violence, it should be reported to the appropriate authorities for resolution. Students should seek help and guidance from school administrators or parents if they are facing any form of violence.

When was it made illegal for a teacher to hit a student?

Hitting students as a form of discipline began to be outlawed in schools in the late 20th century. Some states in the United States banned corporal punishment in schools in the 1970s and 1980s, and now many countries worldwide have laws prohibiting teachers from hitting students.

Can your parents hit you?

No, it is not acceptable for parents or anyone else to hit a child. Physical violence is not an appropriate way to discipline or communicate with a child, and there are other more effective and non-violent ways to address behavior issues. If someone is being physically abused, it is important to seek help from a trusted adult, teacher, or the authorities.

If someone hits your car while driving and then flees the scene, it is considered a hit-and-run. You should try to gather as much information as possible, such as the other vehicle's license plate number or a description of the driver, and report the incident to the police. Is it illegal to hit a girl?

Personally, I feel as though if a female hits a male multiple times, the male should have the right to fight back, and not be punished by law. Though if he fights in a way that could possibly put her in the hospital, or knock her out, may the judge choose his punishment. UNLESS the female was going to do equal or worse to the male.

What can you do if your teacher beats you?

* It is seldom every heard of that a teacher beats a student because they could lose their teacher's license. Teachers may be strict, but if they hit, slap, or even push a student then the student should report it to the school counselor or to their parents. Beware! If you make false accusations towards a teacher simply because you don't like them you could get into trouble yourself and possibly be kicked out of the school you are in or your parents could be sued.

How do you promote a good student-to-student relationship?

Have the students work together in a group. If the students are of the same capability and are compatible they should hit it off quite well. If a student asks a question to the teacher, tell the student to ask his fellow classmates for an answer and see how he does.
