No not really. you need the firing pin to hit the primer and shoot the bullet.
see a gunsmith, it could be dangerous with pin jammed. Could fire if loaded and closed quick
not sure you should take your gun to a gun smith
If you are asking how to fix it: Unfortunately unless you can glue or seal it it, the gun will not work without the Black sear pin. You may have to buy a new receiver half.
No
Color is immaterial
When the striker or firing pin connects with the rim (on a rimfire) or the primer (on a centerfire), and the cartridge does not fire.
hammer is spring pushed and hits the firing pin to fire the cartridge.
On a center fire gun, rounded tip. On a rimfire gun, the tip is shaped a bit like the tip of a screwdriver blade.
when a gun is cocked, the firing pin (the thing that hits the bullet to shoot it) is pulled back so when you pull the trigger the firing pin moves forwards and shoot the bullet de cocking is when you move the firing pin from the "ready position" to "relaxed position" where you can pull the trigger and nothing will happen
Want ads, gun shows.
Common problem. Firing pin is worn, therefore not as long as it should be to properly concuss primer. Just replace pin.
