Yes, a girl can text a guy first. However, you don't want to start every conversation first. If you really want to know if hes interested, don't text him for awhile and see if he texts you and starts a convo. And I mean a little while, see if you can go a couple weeks unless he texts you. I'm not saying go a whole day and that'll show you if he cares. It takes longer than a day. But yes, you can text a guy first.
