Instead of using the soon to be, just ask, can a 15 year old date a 13 year old? Now if we are speaking legally, then in most states the answer is yes.
But we are speaking of "dating". So of course parental approval will also play a big role in this. But as I was stating, in most states the legal age of consent usually has a 2 year window (2 years older, or 2 years younger) with the exception of those over the age of 18, that is when 2 years younger is no longer within the age of consent limit and again depending on the state, may be illegal.
Some may argue: "I won't commit fornication, I'm a Christian." We know that sex before marriage is wrong, but when you're all alone with a person to who you are attracted too, the sexual drive can lead you to wrong doing. Even the famous King David- a very faithful man of God- allowed himself to give in to the pressure (1 Sam. 13:14; 2 Sam. 11:1-4). When people are in their teens, people go through a phase called "the bloom of youth". That is a period of time when sexual feelings and romantic emotions first become strong. By waiting until you're past the bloom of youth (on average: 18-25), you can ward off the pitfall.
Another thing to consider is the purpose of dating. Dating is an honorable purpose of determining whether or not a couple should get married. Granted, some of your friends may take a casual view of dating. Some may date just to have fun and boost their self-esteem. However, dating with no attention of getting married is like acting like a child who plays with a new toy and then discards it. Clearly, when you're dating someone, you are affecting the other person's feelings. So make sure your intentions are good.
Waiting to date will give you more freedom to rejoice in your youth. In contrast, if you focus on the person you like to long, you set yourself for heartache. Use this period of time to learn how to cultivate and maintain friendships. Later, if you choose to date, you will have a better idea of who will be your partner.
basically
you're too young and you should wait at least 18. It's not that long!
Well yeah but I don't think it's a good idea I mean 11 is pretty young and a 15 year old is going to be allot more emotionally and physically mature then a 11 year old kid I really don't think a 15 year old could get in a serious relationship with such a young kid
no I think that is a big age gap. The 17 year old wouldn't have as much experience in life as the 22 year old, no offence but the younger wouldn't even be as mature mentally.
Yes, a 13 year old can date a 16 year old, but they can't have a sexual relationship because that is illegal.
