In my opinion no,and here is why:
Some may argue: "I won't commit fornication, I'm a Christian." We know that sex before marriage is wrong, but when you're all alone with a person to who you are attracted too, the sexual drive can lead you to wrong doing. Even the famous King David- a very faithful man of God- allowed himself to give in to the pressure (1 Sam. 13:14; 2 Sam. 11:1-4). When people are in their teens, people go through a phase called "the bloom of youth". That is a period of time when sexual feelings and romantic emotions first become strong. By waiting until you're past the bloom of youth (on average: 18-25), you can ward off the pitfall.
Another thing to consider is the purpose of dating. Dating is an honorable purpose of determining whether or not a couple should get married. Granted, some of your friends may take a casual view of dating. Some may date just to have fun and boost their self-esteem. However, dating with no attention of getting married is like acting like a child who plays with a new toy and then discards it. Clearly, when you're dating someone, you are affecting the other person's feelings. So make sure your intentions are good.
Waiting to date will give you more freedom to rejoice in your youth. In contrast, if you focus on the person you like to long, you set yourself for heartache. Use this period of time to learn how to cultivate and maintain friendships. Later, if you choose to date, you will have a better idea of who will be your partner.
i am 12 and dating a 15 year old and i really do love him my dad said its fine but i dont know what my mom thinks I think it is ridiculous that a 12 year old is going out on dates. It is much too young to be getting into that whole boy/girl thing. And there is a big difference in maturity levels at those ages.
Yes, it is legal for an 18 year old to date a 15 year old, but it is illegal for an 18 year old to have sex with a 15 year old.
In many places, a 15-year-old dating a 12-year-old can raise legal concerns due to the age of consent laws. It is essential to check the specific laws in your jurisdiction regarding age of consent and Romeo and Juliet laws which might provide exceptions in some cases. It is important to prioritize the well-being and safety of both individuals involved.
In Pennsylvania, the age of consent is 16. Therefore, it is not legal for a 15 year old to date an 18 year old in Pennsylvania. This could potentially lead to legal issues.
Yes it is illegal in the state of New York to have sex with a 15 year old as she is a minor.
No. because I am 12. and my boyfriend is 15. he is sweet and we are in love.
Depends if your mom and dad let you but don't have sex with a 15 year old if you 12.
no but he will date a 15 year old make yourself look like your 15
Yeah, I guess.
yes, well if you want to
Age Is't A Big Deal
When Ray Ray was 15, he said in an interview he would date a mature 12 year old. But that was in 2011.
Jan is just 3 years older than 12 year old when you were 20 and jan 23 you can date
i do not think so but it is a little old in my opinion
This is technically Second Degree Child Molestation due to the age of the 12 year old.
okay well if that 12 year old looks older and lies about there age or the 15 year old might like the 12 year old you never know just as long as there happy b/c age is just a # im 13 ans im dating a 15 year old so whats the diff. omg what is wrong with these kids today why would a 15 year old want to date a 12 year old
I don't think a 15 year old should be dating. And certainly not a 12 year old. Probably not that is just a bit to young but depends on your maturity and how you might look like if you look way older than 12 then maybe
