My Gyno told me to check it once a month because it can fall out although I think it is pretty rare. I wish mine would fall out than I wouldn't have to go back again to have it removed

Yes, It can fall out on its own I had mine fall out durning intercourse.

I know 2 other ladies i meet at a gyno, whos had also fallin out.

I suggest a IUD over the mirena.
