cyber monday's name came from black friday. It's just like black friday but online. Cyber, means internet and Monday is the day its on, the first Monday after black Friday.

The term Cyber Monday first appear seven years ago. A news reporter Daniel Wood from New York Times named the first Monday after Thanksgiving Cyber Monday.
