I have been told by a Breast cancer nurse that this is completely normal and due to an increased amount of estrogen. This can be exacerbated by being over weight.

This is different for everyone but in my experience, my breasts started hurting right away. I didn't realize it was because I was pregnant until I went to the doctor and they told me I was. Yes, it is normal to see vatiation in your breast size throughout your entire menstrual cycles but especially around ovulation and menstruation. The breasts are not growing or shrinking, the ducts in the breasts are swelling due to the effect of hormones on the breasts.

Yes! I am 5 weeks now and knew a week after ovulation. I felt nauseous, and my breasts/nipples were sore. I had never felt like that. I took a test at 9 days past ovulation and got a positive!
