I had my cartilage done with a gun and it was completely fine, i didn't even know they had done it. Honestly, it is a very small chance it will shatter your ear. I know 7 people, including me, who have had it done with a gun and it is fine. . (:
~Piercing guns are disgusting. Please don't get it done with a gun. Guns collect blood, dirt, dust, and sweat. They can't be autoclaved so whatever gets in there stays in there. So theres your increased risk for infection. They use way too much pressure on your poor ears bc they have to to shove a blunt object through your ear. Plus, the people who use them arent nearly as qualified as legit piercers. Just don't do it.~
-Getting your cartilage don with a gun is not a good idea. It just pushes a ear ring threw and does not remove the cartilage and it just gets stuck in your ear. Even though very small, this tiny piece of cartilage does cause much pain to someone. Its worth the time and money to go get your ears or any body part pierced professionally!-
The Needle. Using The Gun To Pierce Like For Example Your Cartilage In Your Ear, The Cartilage Might Shatter And Youll Feel Tiny Bumps Around Your New Piercing, Thatll Mean You Have Shattered Your Cartilage. So In My Opinion For Choosing What To Pierce With I Would Have To Say A Hollow Piercing Needle :)
No. Some of them might, but a majority will not pierce anything other than earlobe or cartilage. They use a gun for piercings, which cannot be used on the body.
Pain and discomfort are part and parcel of getting the cartilage pierced with a piercing gun. The piercing gun user knows that they are not allowed to pierce ear cartilage with a piercing gun. Properly done cartilage piercing done by a professional body piercer would have been healed by now. The swelling is due to the stud backing being too close to the skin and not allowing the piercing to drain or breath properly.
Walmart is pretty cheap for lobe piercings but the wont do cartilage piercings any more because the gun uses blunt force wich can cause the cartilage shatter
Piercing cartilage at home is a terrible idea. If it gets infected, your cartilage can actually collapse. Infection can spread through our bloodstream as well if you dont get it handled correctly. Your best bet is to get it done by a pro.
If you are under 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign some papers and be present when you get the piercings. You must be at least 13 to get your cartilage pierced regardless of a parent's consent. -DO NOT GET IT FROM CLAIRE'S ... claire's pierce with a gun , &if that shatters your cartilage, your gonna go through ALOOOOOT of pain &it causes alot. &your supposed to pierce it with a needle, it wont get infected as easy.
no it doesn't
You'll have to ask your piercer to check it out for you.
No. Claire's uses a gun to pierce, and tragus piercings can only be done with a needle. Claire's strictly does only Outer Ear piercings like the lobe and cartilage. Some Claire's don't even do cartilage.
i have my cartilage pierced it didn't hurt just && the time i wasn't really eating or drinking anything so i fainted. i went to walmart to do mine
Most women pierce the lobe of the ear, although others, pierce the cartilage.
