I'm a 34 years welder, also am 20 weeks pregnant, I've been told i could work until I'm 24 weeks, but have to stop than cause little hears are well formed and could have permanent hear loss with grinder noise that is about 120 db. Had to reduce the beat , and avoid certain positions. Have a list of those from my doctor. First trimester was difficult, trowing up whit the smells of fumes, propane lift, being tired, now it's more the fear of hurting belly while lifting big piece whit the crane. Still believe the metal shop is not the best place for a pregnant women...

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
