No. 80% + of the market share for supermarkets is controlled by Coles (now owned by Westfarmers) and Woolworths (no relation to our failed UK company), which is the market leader bu far. No overseas supermarkets trade in Oz, except for some of the smaller price focussed ones e.g. Aldi

Nope, if you think about it in china they have Chinese shops and goods why would they have sainsburys? sainsburys sells mainly English or other foods but you rarely find Chinese. so why would china have a shop with mainly English food when they are china? so no.

They tried and failed to buy Coles however I believe they are still investigating other options including tesco direct
