Yes, the High Capacity cards (SDHC) are supported. You should be able to put any size in that model.
It depends on the model. Most digital still cameras will take SD or SDHC cards - these are also widely used in digital video cameras.
Yes.
If both cameras call for SD memory, then you can. But if the cameras are not the same model or brand, there is no guarantee that you will be able to see or keep what was on the card when it was in the other camera. The other camera may even tell you to format the card again. So before moving the card to another camera or gadget for the first time, it would be wise to move or copy any important photos from the card to your PC or storage device. DSLR cameras usually come with a small amount of built-in memory - usually as a space saving mechanism. Memory chips can be quite bulky. A memory card increases the number of photos you can take without having to download them to computer. My own Fujifilm S2750 camera came with approximately 23MB of internal memory. A ONE GB SD card gives me approximately 630 shots !
Whatever you want to. Data compression is excellent these days. I use a 1GB card in my Fujifilm S2750 12MP camera - and I get 630 shots (at 12 MP) on a single card !
An SD card.
Some of the features that set Sony cameras apart from other cameras are the enhanced zoom feature and the specialized memory card. They are greta cameras.
Some cameras require that you save the picture to the card. If you don't save them the picture can be seen in the camera or even if the camera is plugged in to the computer.
Those memory card slots on Minolta cameras for READING (not for writing) cards that comes preloaded with Minolta's different exposure modes that we set by turning a dial in modern cameras (with a built-in memory). So, the answer to your question is you can insert a memory card into that slot but you won't be able to save the pictures on it like a digital camera.
A lot ! As an example - My Fujifilm Finepix S2750 cam - at 12 Megapixels, will take 680 shots at max resolution to fill a 2GB card !
