Since flare guns are used in an emergency, the possesion of a flare gun is legal by a felon if used properly.
Flare guns are used to fire flares, to call for help at sea or other dangerous things.
There are several companies that make flare guns, such as 'Hebel'. Alternatively, one might try the brands 'Wolseley', 'Webley' or 'Berridge' for flare guns.
Most flare guns are single shot.
It is never legal to test a flare
Federal law prohibits felons from owning guns...and voting believe it or not.
Nope
in the US, yes. You may make a gun for your own use. You must be old enough to possess a gun, and it must meet legal characteristics of a legal firearm.
Presumably legal. There are no solid statistics to indicate what the number of illegal guns are - it can only be estimated. Also, there are very few guns that are illegal. This would include only machine guns and destructive devices without proper paperwork. Most guns used in crime are legal to own by normal people, but in possession of what is called a "prohibited person". Felons may not possess guns, but it is the felon status that makes this a crime, not the gun.
You might think a flare would not burn in a vacuum, however, they will. The oxygen for the flare to burn is already chemically in the flare. And flare guns HAVE gone into space- as emergency equipment.
Techincally, in Tennessee, there is no such thing as a gun that is "in your name." There are only the following to things: guns you legally possess and guns you illegally possess. As long as you legally possess the gun in question, there is no problem.
It depends on where you are and possibly who you are. In general, though, it is probably legal in most if not all locations in the US to possess (though possibly not to use, without the proper license) a tattoo gun.
