Look at it this way. There's friendly nice people on earth right? But there's also dangerous, mean and hateful people as well.

I believe it is the same. There are good, kind and friendly aliens, then there are mean, dangerous aliens.

I think if we treat them nicely they will treat us the same way. As they say, treat people the way you want to be treated.
