The MTX Jackhammer is a huge speaker 18 inches in diameter.
The cost of a Jackhammer subwoofer made by the company MTX can vary based on the size. According to several different sources a Jackhammer subwoofer can be as cheap as $100.
No
i have 2 mtx 5500 that are powered by an mtx 801D that sounds awesome.
if it is the dual 12 package, your best bet for a inexpensive good quality amp to match the mtx name would be a mtx 250-1, thats what i have for mine and it sounds great.
There is no way my two mtx 10's are pushing 5500 watts and they aren't competition subs.
i was about to hook up 2 12'' mtx tr45 and 2 10'' renegade25 on my 1400watt amp too
Yes you can from amp wire the first speaker + & - then from that speaker run wires to the + & - to 2nd sub just need to watch Ohm load make sure your amp can handle it.
Kicker are always garbadge. Living loud, and living distortion. Made for the Spl freak who likes to hear jackhammer on cement rather than beat on drum. Loud noise draws attention, and makes him feel important. The audiopipe eye candy series are actually very good subs. I run two 15s with my rockfords and Vega subs, and they sound good and keep up nicely. Plus They look great.
There are great deals on MTX Amplifiers always on Amazon. These deals are for used ones though. If one would like to find good deals on new MTX Amplifiers, try to find stores like Home Depot or Canadian Tire.
