Are MTX Jackhammer subs good

i have a pair of mtx 12 inch jackhammers. there decent but im thinkin about tradin them for some alpine type r. they hit 400 rms and 800 peak. there also single voice coils and 4 ohm. like i said there just OK. not by any means great or anything

I run two 15s with my rockfords and Vega subs, and they sound good and keep up nicely. Plus They look great.
