A sign that an incident may occur in the future
dejavu, premonitions
I think an indication is more of a manouvere rather than a sign. Like an indication is more of a physical thing whereas a sign could be physical or non-physical.
Indication is essentially a sign, word, or piece of information that represents something that the speaker is talking about. If you see a sign and it reminds you of something, that could be an indication. Indication refers to something that is meant to suggest or indicate.
Not necessarily. though it can be an indication.
indication, sign, portent, forerunner
It means that it is a possible sign of something. Like if you have a running nose it could be an indication of a cold. Lower stomach pain could be an indication of appendicitis etc. In pharmacotherapy, indication can also mean the reason to take something, so streptococcal pharyngitis is an indication for penicillin, and hypertension is an indication for hydrochlorothiazide.

PrecursorsA precursor to an incident is something that happens before that incident and sometimes acts as an omen. For example, a precursor to colon cancer (sorry, it's the first thing that popped into my head) is the formation of polyps.A precursor to a sneeze could be a bump in the nose. A precursor to a heart attack could be pain in the arm or jaw. A precursor to war could be economic sanctions.A sign that an incident may occur in the future
That is the correct spelling of the form of the verb to sign : "signed" (bearing a signature).
