Well it depends on how you feel. If I was you I would do it now. Or whenever my parents approved. If my parents approved then I would most definitely ask her, but be careful! Talk to her friends see what she is truly like and what she likes. After you have figured out those things find out if she is single or not. Her friends could probably tell you. But they may not know.
If it doesn't work out don't feel sad, there are bigger and better fish and the sea and there is always next year!

It's important to prioritize your feelings and comfort. If you feel ready to ask her out now, go for it! If she's not in your class, you can still try to find opportunities to get to know her better. Don't rush into anything if you're not ready, but also don't let fear of missed opportunities hold you back.
