Some people would say that the correct answer is twelve. However, if you include the FIRST square fence post that is used to give placement references to the four sides of three posts on each side (three times four is twelve), then you get the first post (one) plus the twelve posts which equals thirteen.

How many fence post for 11 acres at 10 feet apart?

Specifying the area inside the fence doesn't tell you the shape or the distancearound it (the "perimeter"). Here are the shortest possibilities. It could beanything longer than these.-- The shortest possible perimeter, requiring the least fence, is to enclosethe area inside a circle. For 11 acres, the diameter of the circle has to be781 feet, and the distance around it is 2,453.8 feet ... that's 246 fenceposts, not including whatever you do for a gate.-- If the sides of the lot are straight, then the shortest possible perimeteris a square. For 11 acres, each side of the square has to be 692.2 feet, andthe distance around it is 2,768.8 feet ... that's 277 fence posts plus the gate.If the lot is rectangular and not square, then the longer and skinnier it is,the more fence it'll need, with no limit. For example, the lot could be 33-ftwide and 14,520-ft long. That's 11 acres inside, and 29,106-ft around ...2,911 fence posts plus the gate.

If you erect a new fence owned by you do you have to face the good side to your neighbors?

Simply no you do not have any legal responsibilities regarding your new garden fence but make sure that it is actually in your garden you can check this by looking where the supporting posts are as they must be on your ground and if they face your neighbours garden you may need to move the fence in a little bit otherwise they could take it down if the posts are on their land so the answer is no as long as the supporting posts are on your own ground then you can look at the pretty side of your fence.

How many fence post 10 ft apart will you need for a 1 acre pasture?

Specifying the area inside the fence doesn't tell you the dimensions, and the length of fence needed to enclose it (the perimeter) depends on the shape. -- The minimum fence that can enclose 1 acre is 740 feet (73 fence posts), around a circle with a diameter of 236 feet. -- The minimum fence that can enclose 1 acre with straight sides is 834 feet (83 fence posts), around a square with 208.7-foot sides. -- If it has straight sides but it's rectangular (not square), then the bigger the difference is between the length and width, the more fence (and posts) you need. For example, if the pasture is 6-ft wide and 7,260-ft long, it's exactly one acre, the horses have to stand in single-file while they graze, and it takes 14,532 feet of fence (1,453 fence posts) to enclose it.
