It doesn't mean that you are pregnant, but metallic taste in my mouth was my first indicator that I was pregnant. I didn't realize I was pregnant for a few weeks, but then I read in a book that it is a common thing many pregnant women experience. Mine went away after about 2 weeks.
Some pregnant woman do experience a metallic taste in their mouth. It is normal, also sometimes your taste buds change.
I had a head injury, which caused bleeding in the ears. Went to Ear/Nose doctor and was notified that having a metallic taste in my mouth is normal with a head injury.
Yes, having a metallic taste with the cravings of eating something tangy could be the sign of pregnancy. It could also be because of some stomach problem too. It's my 7th week in and I'm feeling the same these days. Actually I feel very sleepy too so I thought may be because of taking all these naps mouth tastes this way! I'd suggest you take a preg test right away and go see your doctor for a blood test to rule out the other causes! Good luck!

Many pregnant women have a metallic taste in the mouth but it is not diagnostic of pregnancy.
You probably wouldn't want to have your period in your mouth, but assuming you meant month, you could be pregnant & if your not sexually active &/or know 100% that you are not pregnant, it could be from stress or if you have started a new exercise regime, that could also delay it.

It is impossible to get pregnant through your mouth.

This could be due to tooth decay. if there is a metallic taste do you have bleeding gums?
The taste of metal in your mouth may be caused by blood. If you have a nose bleed, the blood could be transferred to your mouth. Maybe you've recently had hair clips or keys in your mouth? Or if you are a lady, a metallic taste may be caused by pregnancy. If it tastes like there is a massive spoon stuck to your tounge, and you have recently had (a word beginning with S), there is a good chance you're pregnant.
From experience, you have some of the symptoms of a seizure. Seizures often leave the victim tasting a metallic taste in their mouth and they black out and become dizzy. I would see your doctor ASAP.
A metallic taste in your mouth will very likely come and go. The metallic taste most likely comes from blood in the mouth and will heal quickly.
