I don't know because I'm not 13, but I hear them in the halls. From what I hear, they think about it, but it's like anything. For girls, sex isn't much of a priority Boys, however, probably. Girls start thinking about it about after the 4 grade...... but just because they think about it doesnt mean that they are going to do it.... but u should always talk 2 them about it and have an open relationship. But u might as well arm them with protection now... Better now than after they are pregenat.
