It really depends on what he/she likes.. I'm (girl) turning 14 and I want to go Paintballing with my friends... I was also thinking of renting surfboards and going to the beach but it would probably be too cold for that...

for a thirteen year old i think you could go out to the movies with friends and then you could have a sleep over. You can theme the party around the movie. Do the decorations and favors and cake to tie it all together. ie movie about animals, say dogs...bone shaped cake, dog posters, party favors can be small stuffed dogs for the kids to "adopt". kids can be asked to bring in pet food, toys ect to be given to a local shelter.

I think what is really fun for a girls birthday party is like a mall scavenger hunt and sleepover, or have a really big guy girl party if there are turning 13 or 16 or a BIG number:)what also might be fun is rent a limo and go to a concert or somthing... I hope this helps :)
