No, but like everywhere on the nordic hemisphere the night is longer than the day for half a year. Above the arctic circle, the sun doesn,t show at all in the darkest period. In Tromsø, the sun is below the horizon from November 25th to January 15th.

The further north you go in Norway, the longer the sun stays up in the summer, until it actually gets to where it never sets.

On the island of Svalbard, which is a far northern island that belongs to Norway, the sun actually stays up for the whole summer and stays down for the whole winter.
